The Nantucket Preservation Trust's awards committee noted that TUCK'T IN has brought attention to the island's historic cemeteries and has become an important tool for researchers and those interested in Nantucket history.

The Nantucket Preservation Trust's Caroline Ellis Landscape Award recognizes "the careful stewardship or preservation of a Nantucket landscape associated with a historic structure or area." The Nantucket Preservation Trust's awards committee noted that TUCK'T IN has brought attention to the island's historic cemeteries and has become an important tool for researchers and those interested in Nantucket history. "Paula's research and authorship of the book has made a major impact and should be recognized as contributing to the preservation of our historic landscapes."

Paula is honored to be the recipient of the Caroline A. Ellis Landscape Award for her book TUCK'T IN. She said it was a labor of love to research and preserve Nantucket history by chronicling many of the storied residents of Prospect Hill. The Prospect Hill Cemetery Association's publication brings attention to preservation and the historical significance of this island landscape.
